Wreckage Points To Lake Accident Near Cape Ray
A report says wreckage including a steamers cabin furniture and 64 life preservers bearing the name Soo City was found near Cape Ray Newfoundland. The Soo City sailed from Great Lakes ports to New York and was last at Ogdensburg November 11. It was recently sold to Felix Jackson Velasco of Texas and was on the way to the gulf when wrecked. The ship, captained by J G Dillon of New York, had a crew of 14 when it left Chicago November 5 and valued at 35000 with no passengers onboard.
