Robber Stops Yellowstone Park Stagecoaches in Aug. Hoard

A lone highwayman held up and robbed seven Yellowstone park stagecoaches near Jackson Hole. He seized money and valuables totaling over 6 000 dollars, plus watches and jewelry valued at about 10 000 dollars. No weapons were found. the robber escaped on a company horse, pursued by soldiers from Fort Yellowstone. The bandit, about 55, masked, disappeared into the hills after the last robbery.

Taft’s statement was revealed today as a reproduction of the record circulated to political observers. Taft was also told of the first Polish Taft day formation in this county with its home in Minneapolis.
