A south west bin of Peavey concrete fireproof elevators collapsed in Duluth Minnesota on April 18 sending 50 000 bushels of Maxed tumbling. John Nyberg a laborer on the spread carrier bridge fell from twelve feet above the ground but escaped with minor injuries. The elevators are described as the largest storage houses in the world and the only concrete ones in the United States. This marks the second bin collapse in three years.
