A Destructive Assault Ends in Suicide in Iowa

In Des Moines and Hampton, Iowa, Ardent insurance man A E Evans from Waterloo attacked Obediah Smith and his wife near Hampton. Evans struck Smith, and Mrs Smith intervened, both victims left unconscious. Evans then killed himself in Hampton.
