Des Moines April 8 The Hubbard railway merger bill passed the house in form similar to the Mossberry bill. It would let any line incorporated under Iowa law exercise the same privileges as lines operating in Iowa. A veto is expected as the measure aids the Hill Harriman merger. Washington April The US Supreme Court denied hearing next Monday on Washington state’s bid to take jurisdiction in the Northern Pacific Great Northern merger case.
