Local district pioneer Peter Nykolaishyn marked his 87th birthday with family and friends. Attendees included out of town guests from Canora Saskatchewan and Thompson Manitoba, plus relatives from London Ontario Toronto Ontario and Kitimat British Columbia. Four generation portraits were taken and a buffet dinner was served. one son William died in World War I.

Three Injured In Roblin Two Car Crash Details
A two car collision seven miles east of Roblin on Highway No 5 at about 11 50 a m Tuesday September 19 sent three people to Roblin hospital. Mr and Mrs Lomie White of Edmonton Alberta in one car and Mr Wit Gardner a passenger in the other vehicle are in fair condition. Vehicle 2 was driven by Mr Herb Maudsley of the Shevlin district who escaped injury. The RCMP say both cars were eastbound and Maudsley turned left in front of White who was attempting to overtake.
