Manitoba reports a milestone in oil and gas with daily production at 22 000 barrels from 2470 producing wells. Minister Jim Rondeau notes dramatic growth and predicts 350 new wells in 2008 with production to top eight million barrels valued over 800 million. Crown lease sales drive revenue. 206 wells licensed since 2004 with 63 percent in Sinclair Field.
