Season of Hallowe'en brings innocent fun and annual property damage. The piece urges accountability for mischief and urges magistrates to punish those who destroy property, noting lessons about restraint and responsibility amid youthful prank culture.
Dr John W. McCuocough urges TB prevention over cure, stressing vaccination tests, milk pasteurization, and public health work. He calls for tuberculin testing of children, open-air care, and avoiding household contact with cases to curb infection. The Deminasea Department of Agriculture through its Live Stock Branch arranged a 360 head shipment of Western bred cattle to Manchester. The animals, two, three and four years old, include fat and store cattle. Departing Montreal around October 30 aboard the Manchester Citizen, the voyage aims to test Western stock against British demand with a veterinary escort and branded cattle for traceability.
Roblin group leaders met Monday afternoon at the United Church to begin a sewing course led by Mrs Ames from Manitoba Agricultural College Extension Service. The Roblin center has seven members across Roblin Tum To Cromarty and Makaroff with 65 total members. leaders include Mrs Lawrence Nelson Yeo Leppert Brooks Amnott Mitchell Gibson Ritchie Thompson Howe.
The new bridge is now of no use as grade nears completion. Local teachers attended the Dauphin convention last week. A pool room dance was less attended than usual. Mr Sanders returned to Hoblin last week with the bridge contract nearing completion. Halloween jokers are urged to mind that pranks on elders are not sportsmanship.
Roblin posts invite for the Returned Soldiers Banquet and Reunion to be held in Roblin with addresses about future headquarters at Roblin Hotel. Reports include a rye and ergot cattle loss, Halloween dance, a fowl supper by the Ladies Aid, a fatal horse kick death of John Watson, funeral at United Church, and a humane society letter urging animal protection and merciful death for suffering animals.

Teachers return to Walker and Grand Narrows schools after a Dauphin convention, with accordion numbers noted. Sads about Sandy Laird Sr. in hospital at Kampecek, with some improvement reported. Grand Narrows residents Mr and Mrs Smiley spent Sunday with Mr and Mrs H Wilson. Mr Pitfield made a business trip to Robin last week. Mr and Mrs Murray and family spent the weekend with Mr and Mrs Hos Burrel.
Mr and Mrs O Aiken of Jedburgh Susk visited Berry Grove over Sunday. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Fred Ward on the birth of a son and to Mr and Mrs Pete Chomski. The Hard Time Dance on Friday evening Jest was not well attended. Mr C Linbeck of Silverwood attended.
