Mr and Mrs Peter Nowoasad grew English Telegraph Cucumbers four plants yielded all they needed plus extras for neighbors. A red potato weighed 3½ lbs from W Gamey garden. A jumbo carrot and king size turnips 16 lbs were also reported. the Clement household joked about splitting a turnip for supper.

About two hundred Roblin residents gathered October 18 in Roblin Collegiate auditorium for a Centennial Banquet honoring seniors.
