Verda Warkentin Goossen born September 25 1930 in Ste. Anne Manitoba died October 14 2017 at age 87. She married Percy Goossen October 14 1951 and lived in Rosenort Roblin and Fort Vermilion serving at churches and homes. Survived by husband seven children 31 grandchildren 45 great grandchildren and many relatives. Funeral October 20 2017 at Church of God in Christ Mennonite Roblin MB with three officiants. Burial followed at the adjacent cemetery.

Alice Stephanow of Roblin Manitoba died September 19 2017 at Crocus Court Personal Care Home at age 96. Born December 9 1920 in Ashville she taught in rural schools and cared for family at the Roblin farm before moving to Crocus Court in 2011. Prayers were September 24 and funeral September 25 at St John the Baptist.

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Roblin Manitoba held funeral rites for Fr. Peter Pidskalny CSsR who died after a cancer battle in Saskatoon. Interment followed at Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery Roblin with Pallbearers Stephanow family members and a time of fellowship at the Roblin 50 Plus Centre. Donations to Crocus Court Personal Care Home or charity of choice.
