The Roblin District Health Care Auxiliary hosted its annual fall Fun Fair at the Community Centre drawing hundreds for its largest fundraiser. Activities included a luncheon lotto trees auctions bake book knitted goods and kids games plus a Hallowe'en parade.
The Community Foundation distributed over $32 000 to local groups at its 12th annual grants night and AGM held at the Life and Art Centre. Board members praised donors and recipients while highlighting growth from $2 500 in 2005 to about $1.1 million today and noting fundraising in 2017 including a St Patrick’s Day dessert tea and Donor’s Choice campaign supporting Goose Lake High’s Youth In Philanthropy program.
