Notice of a council meeting in Dublin on Saturday October 13 1990 at 7 pm to discuss advisability of a tax sale under current conditions. Called at the request of ratepayers, all ratepayers interested in municipal finance are urged to attend.
The Times reports growing support from the Provincial Government and Premier for farmers storing barley and feeding stock to raise revenue. Farmers stress debt pressures, while officials discuss loans to fund feed and stock purchases with repayment after sale, potentially yielding substantial per-bushel gains.

R M Parker motored to Ruel on Subday last. Dr and Mrs Brookler visited Yorkton for several days last week. H Grown and A F Painter were in Yorkton on business. Dr M Brookler left for Yorkton Wednesday, expected to be away a few days. The Dog and Girls Pig Club Fair was held here Tuesday afternoon, a good attendance. Mrs Jamey Topham entertained girls from Tego at a nine dinner party Tuesday. Mack McEwen returned to Winnipeg after visiting his parents, taking a civil engineering course at the University. Dr Godfrey P Baker was in Kamstock for days on professional duty. The Anglican Church box social and dance at Davis Hall drew a large crowd with the Deepdale orchestra playing.
A small group of youths attended a Forest Hill Farm party on Monday evening. A local teacher proposes improving school grounds for future tree and shrub planting. Misses Powell returned from the city with Mr Tennenhouse and A Reid. Tennenhouse attended the Jewish New Year festival. Congratulates Councillor George Boyce for Ward 4 on the summer drag road, hoping for a permanent Boggy Valley crossing upgrade.
The threshing outfit completed another good season and the cleaner attachment was praised by Mr T. Cunnliffe. A dispersion sale advertised in the Review will attract farmers starting in the sheep business. Mr Cunnliffe departs for Ireland to take over the home farm as his father ages. The Ukrainian people are noted for amateur theatrical production. Mr M. Mickasevich, a leading social worker, plans an English play and seeks local cooperation. an announcement will follow.
Local notes report threshing work nearly complete in this area. Visitors include M Hesselgrave Jr from Kewlona British Columbia W Seveinson Jr of Bredenburg FR Lienes and Winnie Lienes George Strike of Shortdale visited over the weekend. A box social and dance at the field hall Friday was said to be a success despite few attendees.

It questions the justification for annual book shifts, notes publishers shortfalls delaying access, and complains that local stores refuse to stock demanded titles. Parents may soon protest to compel action by the Department of Education.
