A Coon related act began with humor and closed with a rod. Bissie and her mammale troupe Vina Lundy Alice Lambkin Esther Kul berg are praised for their performance and for aiding the memorial fund with 8106.85 in contributions.
The Cromarty Women’s Institute held its annual meeting at Mrs Jas Collins home last Thursday. Officers for the coming year were elected: President Mrs Jas Collins, Vice President Mrs Wm Thompson, 2nd Vice President Mrs Muse, 3rd Vice President Mrs Roy Kelly, Secretary Treasurer Mrs D Johnston. The event celebrated the Institute’s fourth birthday with a four tier cake cut by retiring President Mrs Fletcher and candles lit by former presidents. A lunch was served by Mrs Collins and Mrs Wm Chapman.

W R Davia opens a barber parlor in the former Lee On building and invites all old customers and many new patrons to visit.
