Mrs MacDonald guests at the home of Mr and Mrs C Robin. Mr and Mrs F Gilbert and family of Winnipeg stay at the Eugene Bramwell home. Miss Ethel Ritchie returns from second year at Winnipeg University. A social evening honored Mr and Mrs Donald McFadyen and Mr and Mrs Hilton Brumwell on Tuesday in the summer hall. everyone reported a good time.

Rummage Sale At Roblin Sponsored By Hospital Aid
A rummage sale will be held Saturday June 24 at Roblin to benefit the Hospital. Auctioneered by Dick Bogle, the event welcomes items from an old feather duster to a Model T as donors bring wares to support the hospital fund.

Roblin Passes By law To License Local Trades
The village council of Roblin Manitoba adopts By law 176 to license regulate and tax painters paper hangers decorators sign painters electricians contractors express men draymen merchants and other resident traders not otherwise taxed under The Towns and Villages Act. Penalties range from ten to fifty dollars per license plus prosecution costs or imprisonment up to twenty one days for nonpayment with distress sale of goods if needed. The by law takes effect from the day of passing February 3 1931.
