Mrs F Limb was a passenger in Winnipeg Tuesday morning. Mr and Mrs Gerald Hay and family of Perow British Columbia arrived here on the car Monday evening, visiting their parents.
Several members of the Snell River Women's Institute attended the District Convention in Roolin on Tuesday. M H Sanders and Mrs. E Sancers have left the hospital, we wish them a speedy recovery from their recent illness.
Deepdale United Church celebrated Family Day with four McIntyre children baptized Donald Whitney Patricia Anne Margaret Ruth and John Eric and welcomed by Rev Waddell. The service featured a talk on parental influence and a duet by Barbara Wallace and Betty Purcell. Numerous visitors from Dauphin Gilbert Plains Toronto Tyner and Winnipeg joined local members for greetings and readings.
Mixed social evening at Togo Hall honors John and Beverley Hampson on a three month West Coast honeymoon. Local families from Calgary Yorkton Saskatoon Regina Roblin Winnipeg and area attend weddings birthdays and gatherings while P.T.A. news covers school events graduation banquet planning and playground landscaping efforts in Makaroff and Togo.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller spent Tuesday night with Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Fisher on the way to Winnipeg. Mrs. Miller visited the Fisher household briefly. Mrs. J. McCrea and Albert were Sunday visitors to Brandon.

Mak arroff Young Peoples Group with Mr Ireland visited Poplar Point on Sunday May 13. A strong congregation gathered at each point. Mr and Mrs Wm Cowling and two children of Crandall spent the weekend with Mr and Mrs W A Beattie. District W T Convention in Roblin on May 15 drew many locals. Mr and Mrs John Arnott visited relatives in Tummel Sunday.
Helen Youngson Richardson of Dropmore died May 12 after a long illness in Rochedale district. Funeral service May 14 at 3:00 pm from Tumme United Church. Rev. King officiated. Interment in Tummel cemetery. Born Heather Skinner in Aberdeenshire, she came to Castleavery in 1895 and married Frederick George Richardson in 1918. Survived by sisters Mrs. John Robertson and Mrs. E. F. Lewis and brothers Wm. Skinner and Dr. F. L. Skinner of Dropmore.
