Manitoba announces 107 million highway budget for Parkland

Education Minister Len Derkach unveiled Manitoba's 107 million highway construction plan at Dauphin. The five percent rise over 102 million funds Parkland projects including resurfacing 19 km of Highway 83, upgrades to Highways 5A 10A and 68, and a new bridge on Highway 5 near Turtle River. Other regional improvements target Roads 366 367 594 and paving into Duck Mountain Provincial Park. Dauphin MLA John Plohman criticizes funding for Parkland upgrades while Derkach stresses province wide progress and Repap commitments.

Heritage bridge protection discussed before theft in Roblin
