Church groups host sales and dances May 29 and May 23 to raise funds for baseball. Several locals move to Winnipeg or Transcona. A Mothers Day service decorates churches. Mrs A J Cottrell departs after years in the district. community honors her with a club gift.

Sandy Deering builds a sawmill at H. Javid's. lumber to be hoisted soon. Union Ladies Aid met at Mrs. H Wells with attendance down. Ball club meeting postponed due to members abroad. Levi Sawicki operates seed drills with seven horses. Elevator repairs for next fall underway. travelers from Eleva tor Co. Porteous visiting. Ratepayers meeting held in schoolhouse with grievances aired and addressed. Free Methodists held quarterly meetings led by Mr. Miller.
Willow Brook visited Mr and Mrs Jas Carter last weekend as The Base Ball Club plans a double bill. Admission is 50 cents to the show at Davis Hall followed by a dance.
The Ladies Aid Society will hold a plentee at Makaroff on May Blat. A baby girl arrived at the home of Mr and Mrs G A Sloan on Monday afternoon May 12. Both mother and child are reported doing well.
The girls church club donated a carpet laid by Mr Alan Weundy after redecorations. Mrs Alan Grundy, Miss Crane, Miss BE. Rogers, and Winnie Large performed musical pieces and readings. Mr T Crane led Sabbath School as the mothers received flowers and expressed thanks. The Mothers Day service drew a full house, with a tribute to honored mothers.
Mr H Wilson traveled to Winnipeg on a business trip while Miss Verna Wilsa visited Miss Barbara Jackson. D G McKnight B A teaches at Milden Sauk. Mr and Mrs Adam Sangster toured the north country. Spring work is in full progress and the wheat is sown with few exceptions. Cattle were shipped to the U G G Pool. Sympathy to Mrs Atwater Walkerburn on a bereavement. Mrs Colquhoun, visiting last year, has died. Travis son improving after Dauphin hospital stay. Sunday School at U ELM half on Sunday with 84 present. Mr Jones to lead service on Mothers day.
