The wedding was held Wednesday evening at the bride’s home with families from both sides attending. The couple, led by Edith Alice Grassic, departed on the midnight train to Glenella after a reception to begin their life together. The groom serves at the Presbyterian Church in Roblin, and friends extend best wishes for their new home.

Health Banner Rivalry at Roblin School

Miss Shier's Row won the Health Banner from Miss Arthurs Roow last tenth. Arthur's pupils felt badly yet warned to reclaim it next month. The monthly contest measures the highest percentage of health chores kept, aiming to teach hygiene by having children follow home copies of health rules with mothers' help.

Willow Brook Visits Carter Family For Weekend Event

Willow Brook visited Mr and Mrs Jas Carter last weekend as The Base Ball Club plans a double bill. Admission is 50 cents to the show at Davis Hall followed by a dance.

Ladies Aid Society to hold a plant sale at Makaroff

The Ladies Aid Society will hold a plentee at Makaroff on May Blat. A baby girl arrived at the home of Mr and Mrs G A Sloan on Monday afternoon May 12. Both mother and child are reported doing well.

Mothers Day Observed At Church With Music And Donations

The girls church club donated a carpet laid by Mr Alan Weundy after redecorations. Mrs Alan Grundy, Miss Crane, Miss BE. Rogers, and Winnie Large performed musical pieces and readings. Mr T Crane led Sabbath School as the mothers received flowers and expressed thanks. The Mothers Day service drew a full house, with a tribute to honored mothers.
