Habs fall as Manitoba title ends in 17-12 series
Kenton Johnston wins game and the Hockey Manitoba Senior Championship series 2-0 by defeating La Broquerie Habs 8-6 to close the two game total point set 17-12. Roblin's Canadian Foodgrains Bank Growing Project has 85 acres donated by three landowners Darcy Laliberte Curtis Johnston and Kenton Johnston. The plan funds land rental and crop inputs via a sponsor board with 192 squares at 25 per half acre and potential blocks for larger donations. Board members and a name decision set for a meeting March 30 at 8 p.m. in the Chicken Delight banquet room.
