Manitoba posts record February employment gains
Statistics Canada confirms Manitoba set an all time employment high with 573 000 Manitobans employed in February. Over the past year 6 300 new jobs were created as the province maintains strong growth and a low 4.8 percent unemployment rate. Winnipeg’s jobless rate sits at 5.4 percent with youth unemployment at 9.3 percent.
