New Conservative candidate Inky Mark secured the party nomination at the March 6 meeting in Dauphin after a second ballot process. He called for party unity with the Alliance and predicted Liberal losses once the election is called, noting low voter turnout among CPC members. Mark has represented Dauphin Swan River since 1997.
