Young angler wins big at Lake of the Prairies Derby
12-year-old Dayson Mohr from Russell and his stepdad Joey Chesen won the $10,000 top prize with a 93 cm jack. Poor weather kept participation down to 36 fish, about a third of last year, while prizes totaled $22,000. Dayson plans to save most of his winnings after buying a new TV.
