Manitoba Agriinsurance expands crop and forage options
The program details cost sharing with 40 percent by farmers 36 percent by the federal government and 24 percent by Manitoba. MASC offers insurance for over 60 crops plus forage options including forage establishment alfalfa grass mixtures and perennial grasses. Coverage also extends to forage restoration for moisture flood damage and forage seed insurance for selected crops. Establishment coverage is available for strawberries saskatoons and vegetables.
