Stauffer Starts a Square Dance Club in Roblin

Marion Stauffer and Ernie Davis organize a Roblin square dance club begun January 2004 with 18 members. The club meets October to April, invites nearby clubs, calls by Marie and Mike Wasyleshen, and welcomes all ages with no membership needed. On February 14, 2005 dancers performed at Crocus Court Personal Care Home.

Music at Merridale event earns thanks and apologies

Shaun Howard of Night Life Entertainment thanks Dale Cockerill and Patty Klassen for hiring him to play at a Merridale social on February 19. He notes a large turnout, says all music was crowd requested, and apologizes to the few who were unhappy while praising the overall enjoyable evening.
