Lake of the Prairies tops province in walleye survey
Fish Futures coordinated a public education drive on a slot limit for walleye at Lake of the Prairies. The survey shows the lake produces the most walleye per acre in the province and is among the most heavily fished waters, with 100,000 recreational fishing days and 10,000 released alive outside the slot. Manitoba anglers dominated who fished there, guided by a NR regional manager praising the results.
