Fishing Trip Plany Sparks Insurance Boss Bond
A Life Underwriters' Congress in Brandon sparks a scheme to fund a fishing trip by hitting a three month insurance quota. Monty Drever, then manager, promised to finance if four Western Manitoba agents met the goal, with Cal Szakacs taking the lead after Monty's retirement. The trip yields stories of pike caught, a Snow Lake visit, and a gift of gold pen sets from a company contest.
