Parkland Campus honors Bruce Yurly with award
First year student Bruce Yurly formerly of Shortdale district receives the Parkland Campus Student Association award at the Parkland Campus graduation in Dauphin on June 8, 1989. The plaque and a 50 prize recognize improvement in academics and college participation as he begins a second year in Business Administration. Bruce lives and works in Gilbert Plains.

Roblin College Tour Puts Town On Eastern Map
St. Vladimir's College choir from Roblin on a June 2 tour performing 18 concerts and five liturgies across eastern Canada and the United States.
