A mixed golf event and barbecue were held at Youth Georf Course on Sunday. Top prizes went to Svorne and Sheila Hargreaves Sedo with forty, while Sanders and Fuertie also scored forty. The Roblin Rod and Racing Association opened the 1962 season on Sunday June 10 amid dusty dry track conditions causing low visibility and several close calls. Shell River Rural Municipality held a June 6 1962 meeting with Reeve F H Wilson presiding.
