Good Samaritan Dies After Stopping To Help
Ste. Rose man John Berthaudin, 61, was killed June 2 when a multi-vehicle crash on PTH 276 involved a truck carrying five youths overturning. A second truck struck the overturned vehicle after Berthaudin and another driver stopped to help. Four male youths and one female were injured and flown to Winnipeg. two Winnipeg residents had minor injuries. Parkland Post-Trauma Team aided the community on June 5.
