A large audience attended Mr Latimer's service at G N hall on Sunday. Evelyn Radford returns home from Benito hospital after a week there. Rev Latimer visited several homes in the Grand Narrows district. Charles Framingham left for Winnipeg to represent the Grand Narrows Club. Postup Dan Boychuk visits Winnipeg relatives. Holy Ghost church service led by Rev Bizluk. The Postup hall dance was among the year’s best with excellent music and refreshments. Proceeds funded a new floor.

Wedding at Yorkton for Dodds and Ruff was attended by several locals. Provincial Field Meet attendees at Saskatoon included Blewett and family, Schwartz sisters, Strelloff, Gunness, and others. Mrs Gottlieb left for Flin Flon for a holiday. Visitors spent Monday with Mrs Dave Davis, and delegates to the Provincial Convention were from Winnipeg. W I meeting held with one visitor. July meeting set for Mrs A Tucker’s home.

Zelena andronyk brothers push district work as John Sorochuk oversees a road facelift by Zelena P.O. area. Frank Senderevich buys a new tractor and tiller amid community activity and a M.F.U. special meeting at the local hall tonight. Sunday fishing yielded 37 big fish in hours with Peter Maluga and relatives claiming champion catch. Mr and Mrs Andrew Styba celebrated their 35th anniversary with an electric clock and lamp gift. The Practical Farmer play faced missing players yet Mervin Yakimishyn filled multiple roles and the show persisted. A well attended dance netted over thirty dollars in receipts.
