Engineering officials announce Banff Springs Hotel will open May 15 with the north wing complete. By the following year the south wing will be rebuilt making a 600 plus room hotel and baths ready for public service. Makaroff Club Holds May Meeting at Kernwell Home

The W. E. T. club met at Mrs. W. G. Kernwell’s home on Tuesday May 10 with twenty four members and eight visitors. The group discussed meal planning with withered vegetables and nearly empty shelves. Mrs G Boyce presented a Nutrition paper on Cereals. Plans were laid for the District Convention.

Seeding operations in the district completed last week. Many people attended church services on Sunday. M Hesselgrave disposed of wolf pups claiming raising young wolves is profitable.
