RM of Shell River Contracts Tax Sale to TAXervice Inc
The RM of Shell River joined Brandon Swan River and St. Andrews in hiring TAXervice Inc to run its 2008 tax sale after a May 27 council vote of six to one. The move aims to reduce office workload and ensure professional handling while properties in arrears as of Dec 31 2006 go to auction on Dec 30 at 10 a.m. Council also urged AMM to press the province to require payment of arrears before transfer of title in sales.
