Roblin Retains Intermountain Divisional Golf Trophy

The Intermountain School Division Golf Tournament at Roblin Golf Course on May 30 had 31 players from Roblin and Gilbert Plains. Roblin's Billy Solotwinski led with 81 while Gilbert Plains Gerry Mouck shot 83. Roblin won the team trophy with 348 to Gilbert Plains 352. Donna Campbell led girls with 57 for nine holes. Billy Knott of Gilbert Plains won consolation with 121 for 18 holes.

May 27 results crown 16 zone champions in track and field as students earned bids to Neepawa’s provincial B Championship next weekend. Evelyn Ostrowski led with four wins in Shot Put, High Jump, Javelin and a 4x400 relay with teammates.
