Reader asks why a yellow stain appears on a bathroom floor from rubber backed mats. Experts say sulphur from rubber can cause permanent yellowing. remedies include daily 3 percent hydrogen peroxide for three days or a boil water plus OxyClean solution. If stain persists, cover with a new mat. cotton mats are advised.
Begin by heating one corner of the sticker with a hot hair dryer and peel while warm. Use a plastic putty knife to lift gummy residue, then wipe with rubbing alcohol or soap. If needed, spray WD-40, wait 15 minutes, and peel after testing in a hidden area.

Friends of Madge Lake unveiled a carved memory pole at the Treats and Treasures yard on June 30 to honor long time Madge Lakers and celebrate the forest wildlife carved by Darren Jones of Rimbey Alberta. The non profit group formed in 2017 funds park beautification and lake appreciation through memberships fundraisers and a shop in Fern Campground.
