Well Drilling Tender Linked to Manitoba Geology Survey
Tenders for drilling a test well in southwest Manitoba were announced by Brandon Exploration Co, a subsidiary of California Standard Co. The well aims to probe sedimentary formations for oil and gas reservoirs and will reach 5500 to 6000 ft. Manitoba’s Mines and Natural Resources Minister J S McDiarmid notes ongoing seismic surveys and expanding exploration efforts amid still unproven potential.
