Langeburg won the $100 first prize Roblin $50 second, Bield and Shell Valley $25 each for third and fourth. Roblin led the ladies softball with $10 top prize as Badgerville earned $5 for second. A dance capped the event before a sizable crowd.
The Roblin Horticultural Society held its Peony Rose and Pansy Show on Saturday July 3 at B and B Electric. Eighteen exhibitors offered 71 exhibits with judges led by Mrs Eshelby of Russell.

Winnipeg visitors Mr and Mrs Frank Bailes Jr and Greg attend hospital checkup. Additional visits include Ruth Watson Gordon Stewart and families from St James, John Loyas from Ignace, and Pearl Campbell from Kinosota. Field Club ladies dine then tour St Winds College and nearby greenhouses.
