Roblin Names Summer Recreation Director

Eric E. Bartz of Winnipeg has been appointed Roblin's Summer Recreational Director for the months ahead. Manitoba's Fitness and Amateur Sport Branch hired ten university students in Physical Education and Recreation Studies to support the pilot program. Bartz has cross sport experience and will write a weekly column in the Roblin Review, contactable at the Gordon Hotel.

Gr ade VII Graduation Held at Goose Lake School

The Grade VII graduation at Goose Lake Intermediate School drew a large audience Friday evening. Principal T Paley hosted the event with remarks on effort and character while new principal O Ziolkoski outlined collegiate options and the need for hard work. Twenty with diplomas were announced as teachers and the community celebrated with awards for scholastic achievement and attendance.
