Roblin Village Council appoints committees and officers
The Roblin village council met January 5 1960 with Mayor Newton presiding. The Lutheran Ladies Aid of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church met at the parsonage on January 7 with nine members and four visitors. The treasurer reported a balance of 415.35 dollars and plans included a 5 dollar donation to the Assiniboiine Bulletin and 5 dollars for Lutheran Welfare Association renewal. The Women’s Missionary League will be organized January 20 and handiwork from Hong Kong was displayed for sale. Lunch followed.
