Excess Moisture Insurance boosts Manitoba farm outlook
Premier Gary Doer and Agriculture Minister Rosann Wowchuk unveil Excess Moisture Insurance EMI as part of MCIC covering unseeded land for the crop year. EMI pays 50 per acre for unseeded crops by June 20 and is cost shared 60 40 between federal and provincial governments.
