PARC joins Manitoba childcare economic impact study
PARC will join a CCC study across three Manitoba municipalities to measure childcare’s role in rural development. Dr. Susan Prentice leads the 10 month project, with a local advisory council from business, health care and government. In 2004 Winnipeg’s study showed the sector supports 101 million in output and 80 million in wages, enabling families to earn about 715 million annually.
