MVSD eyes growth of international students program
MVSD expects over 200 international students in 2010-11 with plans to diversify origins from Colombia and Korea. Interim supports include Randy Cangstall for in school aid and Lesia Jensen as a part time Colombian liaison at DRCSS and Mackenzie Middle School. English as a Second Language class is offered at DRCSS this semester as the program expands toward sustainability.

Roblin 50 & Over Club AGM Reports 2011 Officers
The Roblin 50 & Over Club held its AGM on February 8 at the Drop In Centre with 29 members present. Ken Chase stepped down as President and George Wasylenchuk was elected for 2011. The club reported 147 regular and 23 life members, 90 facility rentals, and donations totaling $1,456.75 to local groups. Activities include daily coffee, exercise, shuffleboard, cards, and a bi monthly birthday potluck starting February 28.
