Roblin hosts three day vehicle extrication course
Firefighters from Dauphin Gilbert Plains and Sifton joined Roblin crews for a three day vehicle extrication course hosted by Roblin Shell River Fire and Rescue. Instructors Alf Brade and Emil Roller led sessions on scene safety traffic control stabilization and hands on extrication using hand and hydraulic tools. BH Safety of Winnipeg showcased the latest Jaws of Life tech while Lions funded the department’s three decade old unit which struggles to cut newer vehicle posts with safety roll cages. The course concluded Sunday afternoon.
