Roblin and District TM Club held a meeting January 30 reorganizing for the coming year. H. H. Simpson elected manager replacing Leppert who left the district. Wm. Arnot re-elected president and L. Mitchell secretary-treasurer. Directors urged across districts to meet and join the club. officers to assist in organizing new districts.
Meeting notes show all trustees present except one. Motion by Staples and Gad to discharge obligations from Hillsburg Municipality and not accept grant in lieu of money owed. Secretary to notify Department. Also discussed heating system. Bumstead may visit for estimate. Accounts passed: Roblin Hardware 7.50, Lang Co. 2.45, Walsh & Charles 1.33, Cranwell 15.75. Meeting adjourned.

A lecture on cavening for profit was given by Lake of Saskatoon. Mrs Craig hosts a silver teapot presentation with gifts from family and friends including Irene and Mohle Craig.
The Junior UFM will meet at Mrs. Radford's on Saturday February 13. Mrs. Lester joined Mr. McConnell for a day at Happy Lake with Mrs. R. The ladies section of UFM will meet at Mrs. Ferguson's across the Boggy on Tuesday February 16. A surprise party at Mrs. Radford's last Monday evening gathered friends for a pleasant time. The cultural concert at Town on Friday was reported as splendid with a good time.
Mr Henry Jansand and Mr Philip Hansen traveled on business and medical visits. Missionary Society and Community Club met. Swine Club election planned for Feb 15 at Biela school. Edna Pescott and Jacky Anderson wed at the Manse Grandview with local witnesses. congratulations sent to the couple.
Shortdale reports a very good concert in the North Hall last Saturday with a fair crowd. The area notes petty thievery by teenage boys risks becoming a habit and needs check. The Gaiety dance was well attended despite extreme cold. Polish district fears mark the season start on Wednesday. Ukrainian Lent begins March 22. Mrs Yakimishin returns from hospital improved while Mr Yakimishin remains in hospital after a successful operation and gradual recovery.
Born at Merridale to Mr and Mrs Yakobosh a son Stanley. Despite severe weather on February Sth a good number attended the hard times dance. Music by the orchestra held a lively event with prize winners listed for ladies and gents. A new stable at the school shows community cooperation and future use for entertainments.
A new school building on land owned by A. J. Macaulay was erected with materials donated by a community club. Mr. A. Townsin supervised the project, and the addition is described as a valuable asset to the district.
