MVSD to review new school funding and stay in school plan
MVSD trustees will study Manitoba school funding announced by Education Minister Nancy Allan. The province adds 2.7 percent or 30 million to public schools for a total of 11.35 billion, with at least 2.2 percent for every division and 3.5 million in equalization payments. The board sets a mid February budget draft and a Feb 23 public meeting.
