The first baby of 1989 born in Roblin arrived January 16 at 5:18 p.m. at Roblin District Health Centre and later had surgery at Winnipeg Childrens Hospital. Ronald Paul Louis Cliff Ironstand was brought back January 29 by his father Ronald Ironstand. He is expected home soon to meet sisters Melinda Sara and Allison. Chamber president Sherry Patterson presented gifts.
Roblin's Chamber of Commerce may fold if a new executive is formed soon after president Sherry Patterson resigned.
