Roblin Hospital District No 2 Holds January Board Meeting
The Roblin Hospital District No 2 convened January 24 at 8 p.m. with Jas Stewart presiding. Minutes of the prior meeting were approved and accounts totaling 5 245 41 for operating 260 for depreciation and 5 265 50 for capital were approved for payment. Discussions covered vapour lights at the hospital and council opinions on street lighting, an auxiliary power plant ready for inspection, and planned renovations including baseboard replacement and laundry room partition. The afternoon meeting schedule was set for the next two months. Additional actions included a $5 printing payment for lobby signs and two no parking signs. Roblin Collegiate Students Join National Fitness Test
Ant Professor L Coyne and Associate Professor E Hrenchuk led Friday testing of Collegiate students for cardio-respiratory endurance norms under the Canadian Association for Health Physical Education and Recreation. Fifteen students from Roblin participated among 178 Canadian schools, riding a stationary bicycle up to 12 minutes while heart rate was recorded.
