High School Opens at 9 30 During January February
At a December 10 meeting the Division Board of Intermount ain School Division No. 36 decided to open high schools at 9 30 each morning for January and February. The move follows a survey of school boards citing bus schedules and safety concerns for traveling students. Boards noted some students ride buses as early as 7 20, and opening at 9 30 aligns with nearby schools and reduces unsupervised pre school time. The board concluded 9 30 opens maintain academic quality and allow fair noon sports without forcing extra trips for families.
