Information from a Free Press report shows that Lagos the Percheron stallion owned by Singmaster at Keola Iowa sired senior champion and reserve grand champion stallion as well as grand champion mare at Chicago International week. This marks six championships for Lagos offspring at the world’s greatest Percheron show, with other prizes and reserves noted.

A consignment of twenty six silver black foxes valued at about 20000 dollars was handled by the Canadian Pacific Express Company in Montreal. The animals were shipped from the Meritt Silver Black Fox Ranch in Meritt British Columbia to Messrs Boullon and Paulin in Grenoble France for a new fox ranch, with this shipment serving as the nucleus.
Thirty canaries valued at a hundred pounds arrived at the Canadians Pacific Express Company sheds in Montreal from Liverpool as part of a 3200 mile journey toward Osaka. They left Windsor street station for Vancouver aboard the Canadian Pacific liner Montroyal via Saint John after a stormy crossing, yet sang in fine feather.
