Roblin community notes span decades of local events
Thirty years ago Heather Fisher became Roblin Agricultural Society president while Stella Fedeniuk earned White House recognition for flood repairs in the US Midwest. Town council earmarked two years of VLT revenue for a new Roblin hall, with about 100000 set aside for repairs. MTS opened a Roblin cellular tower on Dec 15 and local seniors were honored at a Christmas supper. Forty and fifty years ago local RCMP and bus accidents, park events, and snow cleanup marked the era with community updates.
