Alternate Sundays list a 4 p.m. sermon titled Armed with a Dream and a children's story The Origin of a Famous Carol. Readings emphasize faith, community, and holiday themes with a brief message and accompanying tale.
Miss Kathleen McMahon Dominion Field Secretary of the Canadian Girl Guides visited Roblin to enroll the new troop and award badges. The group started by Mrs J Funk in September has progressed well. She praised the girls, conveyed Chief Guide Mrs Warren's best wishes, and promised a return next year.
Goose Lake Consolidated tender calls for 1986 van routes with bids due Dec 19 1935 at noon. Proposals must include driver and bondsman names ages 21 or older. Separate bid sheets per route list assigned drivers and substitutes. lowest bid not necessarily accepted.
