Manitoba Wildlife Federation to Buy Manitoba Beef for Food Banks
The Manitoba Wildlife Federation will purchase Manitoba beef to supply Winnipeg Harvest and rural food banks. The Hunters Sharing the Harvest program has donated over 30,000 pounds of meat since 1995, but BSE crisis and processor workload reduced donations this year. The federation aims to supplement venison with beef while processors catch up.
